A Patient’s Tip to Quit Smoking
I recently had a new emergency patient who was having toothache symptoms. During our review of his health history, I asked him if he had ever smoked. He said he quit two years ago at age 34. He had smoked from 21 to 34 years old. I then asked him what made him quit after many years of smoking.
The patient said he had tried to quit before, but never could. At age 34, he began reading a book by Allen Carr, that has helped many people quit. He could not say enough good things about this book and how it helped him stop smoking as he read.
As a health care provider, I’d like to share this book in hopes that it might help you or a loved one quit smoking once and for all.
