Family Dentistry with a Focus on Comfort

Here at Briglia Dental Group, we are committed to providing our patients with a comfortable experience. All of our treatment rooms have TV’s with channels for kids and adults. We offer an “internet café” desk where kids can play games and adults can check their email. We have a fun post appointment prize box for children to look forward to after their appointment is completed.

Preventative dentistry ensures that patient’s teeth and gums are kept healthy through routine, professional cleanings. Such cleanings are effective in preventing tooth decay and other dental health problems.

Dental health maintenance at home is critical. Brushing twice a day, flossing, and rinsing will keep teeth and gums healthy, but routine cleanings by a professional hygienist go a step further.

Using advanced equipment, a professional hygienist can remove plaque buildup, polish teeth, and can provide detailed, personalized instructions on how to care for teeth and gums at home. From the youngest child to senior citizens, our warm friendly environment makes patients feel comfortable and welcome.

Dental Health Maintenance with Regular Checkups

Regular checkups and exams ensure that dental health problems are caught and treated as early as possible. Parents generally begin to bring their children in at the age of 2 or 3 years. It is important to practice good oral hygiene starting at an early age.

When dental problems are detected early, they can be treated early. Early detection and treatment means that teeth and gums have a better chance of being saved. It’s also more cost-effective to treat problems immediately, before they become more complex and difficult to address.

With regular checkups, patients feel confident about their dental health. Make sure you have a dental examination and professional cleaning every six months.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your first appointment will involve a comprehensive exam so that Dr. Briglia can provide you with a treatment plan that addresses any problems. We’ll discuss your medical history, why you’ve come to our practice, and any general concerns you have. Dr. Briglia will review your past dental x-rays or take new updated digital x-rays in order to diagnose any problems that cannot be seen clinically. We’ll review your past medical and dental history, and complete a clinical examination which includes a TMJ/Jaw Joint exam, an oral cancer screening, a tooth by tooth exam, a check for periodontal gum disease, and a check for bone loss around your teeth. In addition to the services above, we will also take a series of intraoral photographs in order to have a record of your actual teeth and gums for future diagnostic and insurance purposes

If you’re a new patient, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so that we can be sure all paperwork is completed. You can get a head start on this process by downloading our new patient form online! Once your form is completed, please keep a copy for your records and bring a copy to the office. Call us today at (610) 615 0160 with additional questions or schedule your first appointment online when you’re ready.

Briglia Dental Group is always accepting new patients! Request an appointment online or give us call at (610) 615 0160 to request more information about our new patient process.

If you have dental x-rays that were taken within the last 12 months, we’ll ask you to call your previous dental practice to have them send us any records or x-rays they have on file. If you don’t have current x-rays, whether we’ll take new ones on your first visit really depends upon your dental history. We may recommend taking new x-rays to get a complete look at your teeth. X-rays allow us to check for bone fractures, cysts, tumors, lesions, and sinus issues.

If it’s appropriate, you may be able to have your teeth cleaned the same day as your first appointment. If we diagnosed that you have gum disease and bone loss, we’ll review treatment options with you at that time. In general, your first appointment will not include any dental treatments or cleanings. Before scheduling any treatments, Dr. Briglia will need to complete a comprehensive exam so that he can provide you with a treatment plan that addresses any problems.

Briglia Dental Group always makes treatment affordable and will never surprise you with hidden fees. Our estimates and bills are clean and detailed so you know what to expect. To receive a specific estimate of cost, please call our office at (610) 615 0160 .
